RBI increased the IMPS transaction limit. Individual banks may set lower limits for their customers.

RBI raised IMPS limit to ₹5 lakh via circular DPSS.CO.OD.No.S271/06.24.001/2021-22 (Nov 2021). Banks may set lower limits.

Daily Limit
RBI does not mandate a specific daily IMPS limit. Your bank sets the daily limit (typically ₹5 lakh–₹25 lakh for online banking).

NPCI does not specify a minimum IMPS amount. Banks may have minimum thresholds (e.g., ₹1).
