UPI AutoPay — Recurring Payment Mandates
UPI AutoPay allows you to set up recurring mandates for subscriptions, EMIs, insurance premiums, and utility bills. NPCI sets the limits and rules for UPI AutoPay mandates.
Mandate Limit
Up to ₹15,000/transaction without additional authentication. Above ₹15,000, additional authentication (UPI PIN) required per NPCI circular.

How to Set Up
Open your UPI app → select the merchant/service → approve the mandate → enter UPI PIN. The mandate is registered on NPCI infrastructure.

How to Cancel
Open UPI app → Manage Mandates / AutoPay → select mandate → cancel. Mandate cancellation takes effect immediately as per NPCI rules.

Pre-debit Notification
NPCI mandates that customers receive a notification at least 24 hours before an AutoPay debit. You can reject the payment during this window.
